The issue I was trying to bring to light can hopefully be better explained by the following 2 screen shots:
The first image shows the gap I am talking about.
The second screen shot displays the code that is somehow generating the gap.

Well the good thing is I have managed to fix the problem, but have no idea what was happening within blogspot causing the problem. Fixed it within Live writer where I added the table again and deleted the old one.
ReplyDeletewhat I was trying to say was that the gap was caused because the html for the table was incorrect as it had br tags in it. The br tags inside the table caused linebreaks to appear above the table. (html is such fun). By copying the table again you fixed the problem because there are no br tags in the new table html.
